About Blunt End Stainless Steel Dispensing Tips

Blunt end stainless steel dispensing tips or dispensing needles are the most popular type of dispensing needle. They can be supplied in different gauges (I.D.) and lengths – standard length is 1/2″, but also stocked are 1/4″, 1″ and 1 1/2″ – depending on requirements. Our range also offers options where the needle is epoxy bonded or crimped to the polypropylene hub.

Straight Tips Standard straight blunt end tips are available in a variety of lengths: 1/4″, 1/2″, 1″, 1 1/2″. Construction – stainless steel straight cannula epoxy sealed to a double helix Luer lock polypropylene hub. Polished burr-free finish for smooth fluid dispensing.

Angled Tips Angled tips can be used for application on difficult to reach areas. We can supply blunt end dispensing tip with either 45° and 90° bends. Available in 1/2″ standard length. Construction – stainless steel cannula epoxy sealed to a double helix Luer lock polypropylene hub. Polished burr-free finish for smooth fluid dispensing.

Crimped Tips For use with aggressive materials – such as strong solvents – which may break down the bond between hub and needle in regular blunt end tips. Available in 1/2″ and 1″ length. Construction – stainless steel straight cannula crimp sealed to a polypropylene hub with “ear-type” Luer lock fastening. Polished burr-free finish for smooth fluid dispensing.

All of our dispensing tips are compatible with the standard Luer fitting, so are suitable for use with our dispensing barrels and manual syringes, as well as most other dispensing barrels and syringes on the market.
