PTFE Lined Dispensing Tips
About PTFE Lined Dispensing Tips
PTFE lined dispensing tips are recommended for dispensing cyanoacrylate adhesives or other low viscosity materials. These stainless steel tips have a Teflon (PTFE) insert lining that projects slightly out from the stainless steel needle. When used as cyanoacrylate dispensing needles, the PTFE lining helps prevents clogging as cyanoacrylate adhesives will typically not react with it. The low surface energy of the PTFE surface improves flow characteristics.
The needle/PTFE tubing is bonded to a colour coded hub with an industry standard luer lock fitting.
All of our dispensing tips are compatible with the standard luer fitting, so are suitable for use with our dispensing barrels and manual syringes, as well as most other dispensing barrels and syringes on the market.
