About QuantX Dispensing Consumables, Syringe Barrels, Pistons
The QuantX range of premium dispensing consumables has been developed to provide you with the reassurance of maximum accuracy, optimised yields and minimum material waste, resulting in efficient and cost effective dispensing. All components are designed to enhance material flow, maximise control and ensure compatibility with other QuantX products, as well as being interchangeable with those from other leading premium brands.
The QuantX brand is a premium dispense management system that has been manufactured to strict tolerance standards in order to provide turbulence-free, accurate and repeatable dispensing.
Syringe Barrels – Natural, black, amber
QuantX barrels are manufactured from premium grade polypropylene for maximum integrity and clarity. All QuantX barrels feature industry-standard Luer lock fitting. Available in amber and black for UV sensitive materials .
Air Powered Polyethylene Pistons
QuantX Evenpress™ pistons apply pressure evenly across the material and seal fluid and fumes in the syringe barrel as well as helping to prevent tunnelling in higher viscosity materials.
Syringe Barrel End Caps, Syringe Barrel Flat-Base Tip Caps, Syringe Barrel Adapters
Green polyethylene clip style quick-twist end caps ensure an air tight seal and secure the neck opening of the syringe barrel when not in use or in storage. QuantX tip caps provide a seal that prevents leaks when prefilling barrels or sealing part-empty syringes between use. Made of polyethylene, they have a knurled surface for easy fitting and removal, and a flat end for upright storage. QuantX syringe barrel adapter assemblies connect a syringe to a time/pressure controller.

- Quality tests have been conducted to approve dispensing components for industrial use with pressures up to 6.9bar (100psi), provided they are used correctly and as a single use product. These tests have been validated at a temperature range of 10°C to 40°C.
Syringe Barrels
QuantX syringe barrels benefit from a highly accurate manufacturing process to ensure minimal resistance and parallel uniformity over their length. This enables accurate dispensing of dots, lines and doses. QuantX barrels are manufactured from premium grade polypropylene for maximum integrity and clarity. They are suitable for most materials (we do not recommend the use of pistons for cyanoacrylate dispensing). | |||
Smooth-Flow Green Pistons Evenpress™ Smooth-Flow (green) low friction pistons are recommended for most dispensing applications. The double-wipe design prevents material waste and air entrapment by wiping the syringe barrel wall clean. |
