Robot Dispensing System for Low Viscosity Materials from Semco Cartridges
About Robot Dispensing System for Low Viscosity Materials from Semco Cartridges
Allowing the controlled dispensing of materials from prepacked cartridges, including Semkits®, this automated system uses a F5200N.2 robot to repeatedly perform programmed dispensing patterns quickly and accurately. The cartridges are held in a pressurised cartridge holder, and the flow is initiated by a DC50 dispensing controller, which provides a timed air pressure.
For materials that may ordinarily be difficult to control due to their low viscosity, an integrated pinch tube valve, activated by a DC50 dispensing controller, cuts off the flow of material once a shot has been completed, allowing a drip-free process.
The cartridge holder and pinch tube valve are securely fastened to the robot using a custom mounting bracket, granting easy replacement of cartridges and the valve pinch tube, without realignment.
This dispensing system is an example. We would be pleased to help you put together a dispensing system customised for your particular needs.
