FIS 710PTLF Pinch Tube Dispensing Valve with Disposable Fluid Path
About FIS 710PTLF Pinch Tube Dispensing Valve with Disposable Fluid Path
The FIS 710PTLF Pinch Tube Dispensing Valve is engineered for precise control of semi-viscous liquids including mixed two-part component fluids and cyanoacrylate adhesives. The only part of the valve making contact with the fluid being dispensed is the pinch tube assembly, which is easily replaced and disposable.
Material can be fed to the valve from syringes, cartridges or pressure pots. The pinch valve is controlled by a dispenser and can be easily fitted to a benchtop robot.
Features & Benefits
- Disposable valve tube and feed tubes
- Suitable for low viscosity fluids
- Ideal for two-part epoxies and cyanoacrylate adhesives
- Simple to use and maintain
Applications
Micro-shot applications of low to semi-viscous materials, like:
- superglues
- anaerobic adhesives
- UV curing adhesives
- solvents
- inks
- paints
- activators
- primers
Operation
When “closed”, a moulded polyethylene tube assembly (supplied) is pinched shut (B). When air is applied to the valve by the valve controller, the pinch is relieved and material flows. This may be a timed shot if desired, or manually controlled. Flow rate can be controlled by an adjustment screw.
Material can be fed to the valve (A) from syringes, cartridges or pressure pots. One end of the pinch tube assembly has a female luer lock fitting which accepts our full range of dispensing tips (C). The valve can be controlled from our dispensers like the FIS DC50 digital dispensing controller.
