It has become a Christmas tradition at Intertronics for us to collect donations for the North Oxfordshire Community Foodbank, a local source of support for people struggling to put food on their tables. Our team members came good with a cornucopia of larder staples and treats, and we also accepted kind donations from people visiting our offices.

After delivering the boxes of food to the foodbank on Friday, we were assured that they’d be in people’s hands before Christmas. The food bank team said:

“WOW thank you all so much again for all your generous donations to Foodbank on Friday, which we were so pleased to receive. We all know life is tough at the moment for some and those referred to us as in need are grateful for the basic support we provide, with the support of folk like yourselves we are able to maintain full parcels and at this time a Christmas parcel as well. It is good to know that there is support out there and can you thank all your staff for their generosity it is very much appreciated.”

We wish full bellies for everyone at Christmas, and are grateful that resources exist for people in our local Kidlington community that enable us to lend a helping hand even in a small way.

Thanks to everyone who added to the collection, and especially to our colleague James Heydon who coordinated the collection and delivered the goods to the foodbank.
