DYMAX 729 SpeedMask plating and harsh chemical maskant is a UV/visible light-curing masking resin that fully protects components and is capable of withstanding soaking in hot acid without permeation or seepage under the mask. It provides excellent surface and cavity protection of turbine components during acid-stripping, high-temperature plating processes, and other harsh chemical operations.
Its ability to cure in seconds maximises efficiency in production throughput. It can be applied by spray or dip, and can be easily removed by incineration with no residue remaining. It has application potential in machining (milling, grinding, turning), high-temperature plating processes, or acid stripping.
