We wish you a Delightful Christmas, and a Peaceful and Prosperous New Year. Thank you for working with us in 2019.

We are closed on the afternoon of Tuesday December 24 2019, and reopen again at 9am Thursday January 2 2020.

In lieu of sending out printed Christmas cards, we have donated to two charities:
ROSYROSY stands for Respite Nursing for Oxfordshire’s Sick Youngsters. They fund additional respite nursing care at home for children with chronic, life-limiting or terminal illnesses in Oxfordshire. They also provide equipment for sick children which can improve their day-to-day lives, and a counseling service for families who are affected by having a child who is suffering from an illness requiring respite care. Currently they fund 11 respite nurses and HCAs (Health Care Assistants) in Oxfordshire, to do the equivalent of 7 full time jobs in respite care for the ROSY families. They think it’s best for children with terminal or complex illness to be cared for at home, around familiar things like siblings, family and pets, although it places a huge burden of care on their families, who are left to care for a child with very complex medical needs, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. ROSY helps.

Crisis Skylight OxfordCrisis is the national charity for homeless people. Their innovative education, employment, housing and well-being services address individual needs and help people to transform their lives. They see the whole person, not just their homelessness. Many of the people they support won’t benefit from government initiatives introduced in recent times. They rely on help from organisations like Crisis and donations from people like us. We have supported the Crisis Skylight, based in the Old Fire Station, Oxford.
