Description

TEC 1756 Licron Crystal is a revolutionary and innovative concept in permanent static dissipative coating. Licron Crystal is a versatile, clear urethane coating that adheres to metal, plastic, and most other surfaces. Unlike most other anti static coatings and treatments, it operates from 0-100% humidity. The cured anti-static coating is durable, will not chip and maintains 106-109 conductivity. It is ideal for converting storage bins, tools and other surfaces to a static safe condition, saving expensive replacement costs. The end result is compliant with ANSI/ESD-S20.20, and prevents static damage to sensitive electronic components.

Ordering Information

Licron Crystal is supplied in an aerosol can or in bulk. It can be sprayed using standard spray guns or paint systems (it is recommended that compatibility on seals and other plastic or rubber components is tested). An earth or grounding wire can then be attached (i.e. by conductive adhesive), in a similar methodology to an ESD floor.

In aerosol form (TEC1756-8S), two light coats will give approximately 2.5m2 per can. One light coat will give about twice that. For bulk (TEC1756-G), a 0.025mm wet coat will yield approximately 90 m2 per US gallon. Note that a 0.025mm wet coat results in an approximately 0.003mm thick coat when dry.
