Manufacture of NMC electrodes for lithium-ion batteries with high active material content

The manufacture of electrodes is a crucial step in the production of lithium-ion batteries, especially the mixing and coating processes, which are involved. The Technical University of Munich uses a THINKY ARV-310 vacuum rotation/revolution mixer to produce visually homogeneous NMC inks with a solid content in excess of 65% weight in a few minutes.
