Want to learn more about UV and Light Curing?

Unless you are already familiar with the process, the use of UV and light curing adhesives, coatings and sealants can seem rather arcane. Well, we have a couple of opportunities for you to de-mystify this process.

DYMAX Guide to Light Curing Materials
DYMAX has created a Guide to Selecting and Using Light Curing Materials. The 16-page guide includes sections on choosing a light curing adhesive or coating, typical product properties, comparative advantages and disadvantages versus other assembly technologies, selecting curing equipment and maintaining controlled processes.

With just a brief introduction on the history of light curing assembly materials, the educational piece is primarily directed toward manufacturers considering UV and visible light curing materials, and manufacturers already using light curing materials who want to improve the consistency of their processes.

Prospective users of light curing materials will find the 5-step sequence for choosing a light curing material especially useful. Sections describing the properties of light cure acrylates and epoxies will be helpful to those targeting specific physical properties.

Current users of light curing materials will find the sections on maintaining process control beneficial. In particular, recommendations are made on how to match light curing materials, curing equipment and process variables.

Fastening News Live! Roadshow
For many years we have offered workshops and seminars on many aspects of our business. Our range of seminars on UV and light curing adhesives have been particularly successful; they can be optimised for customers who manufacture medical devices, optics, electronics, glass, plastics or general purpose. For customers, they are offered at your premises as a free of charge service.

We also present at trade shows and exhibitions, and the next one will soon be upon us. We will be talking about UV and Light Curing Adhesives at the Fastening News Live! Roadshow, this week on September 15 at the Botleigh Grange Hotel, Southampton. The seminars will start at 11:00am and finish about noon. We'll be doing some demonstrations, and looking to field plenty of questions.

We look forward to seeing you there!
