Description
The IDM PP400 Solder Mask Dispenser is a pressure reservoir dispenser which can be used by up to four operators. Applications include the dispensing of temporary solder mask, which is purchased in bulk and poured into the reservoir tank from where it is dispensed. The IDM PP400 may be used for other single part, low to moderate viscosity liquids. It comes complete with a pressure regulator and gauge, and a safety relief valve. The reservoir tank has a large opening to allow easy filling and cleaning access.
Pinch Tube Dispensing Pen
The IDM PP400 uses the IDM PP405 Pinch Tube Dispensing Pen. This manual dispensing pen is fitted with a flexible silicone pinch tube and is excellent for solder masks and other flowable materials which require 50 psi or less to dispense. The pinch tube is easily replaced, therefore making clean up easy and quick. The front of the pen has a female luer lock fitting, allowing use of any size dispensing needle.
Operation
Open the reservoir tank and pour in temporary solder mask or other liquid. Close reservoir tank using lever to complete the lid seal. Connect IDM PP405 Pinch Tube Dispensing Pens - up to four may be used simultaneously. Each pen will require a dispensing needle, which screws onto the luer lock fitting. Attach reservoir tank to clean, dry compressed air through the pressure regulator. Adjust the air pressure and choose a dispensing needle size for optimal flow for the fluid to be dispensed. Material flow is controlled by depressing the lever on the IDM PP405 Pinch Tube Dispensing Pen.
