Description
The ACO UV Illuminator is a portable lamp and has two 4 watt bulbs, housed in a strong
aluminium extrusion. The internal nickel-cadmium rechargeable battery will give over 3 hours continuous
use after an overnight charge, equivalent to a normal day's usage. A separate power supply is available
for charging, but the Illuminator may be charged from any DC source between 9 and 18 volts.
The ACO UV Illuminator II is a mains powered version of the Illuminator, with a singe compact UV lamp, in similar aluminium extruded housing. The compact lamp 9 watt gives approximately 5 times the UV light output of a single conventional linear tube. Light and easy to handle, the Illuminator II has similar uses to that of the Illuminator, but with the increased light output the Illuminator II is particularly useful in scene of crime investigations.
