 Rotary dispensing table TOP
Sector: Dispensing

- Full control over bead size and finish
- Adjustable z axis for increased flexibility

Rotary table
The I&J Fisnar RT-FLEXII-Z Rotary Dispensing Table provides accurate, easy-to-use dispensing on to circular objects.

An adjustable pneumatic z axis can be inclined to dispense at an angle as the working part rotates. Objects up to 380mm can be accommodated on either side of the system. Correct bead size and finish are ensured by the use of simple yet comprehensive controls.

The I&J Fisnar DSPE 501A Automatic Liquid Dispenser can be neatly housed within the table for easy access. Dispense and rotation delays are easily programmed, together with automatic cycling and speed control. The system is actuated either by foot pedal or safe two-hand operation.

The RT-FLEXII-Z is ideal for circular dispense operations including speaker coils and sealing. And until the end of this year, it is available at a special price - click here!

This Rotary Dispensing Table is just one in our range of automation products for dispensing. Click here for more details, or request our comprehensive dispensing catalogues.

 Certifications for conformal coatings TOP

Sector: Adhesives, Coatings & Sealants

Fast cure, no solvents, no VOCs

DYMAX Conformal Coating
DYMAX UV Curing Conformal Coatings 9-984-LVF and 984-LVUF now feature IPC-CC-830 and UL 94 specifications. With completed certifications for MIL-I-46058C, IPC-CC-830 and UL 94 for its conformal coatings line, including 9-20557 and 9-986-F. DYMAX offers a comprehensive range. These materials exhibit excellent adhesion to polyimide and endure thermal cycling even at extremes to -40°C. The cured coating forms a transparent layer, which protects components and leads from moisture, dust and other contaminants. The viscosity of DYMAX coatings is formulated for consistent spray applications through precision dispensing systems. Controlled dispensing optimises the process and minimizes resin consumption. The flow characteristics are designed to assure coverage of leads of even large surface mount components, without running to areas where protection is not needed.

DYMAX UV coatings cure in 5 to 20 seconds under standard longwave, moderate or high intensity lights (200 - 1200 mW/cm2). Depending upon the light source used and thickness of the coating, curing speed can be as low as a few seconds and less. DYMAX technology enables in-line quality control, eliminates waiting on drying racks and allows parts to be handled, packed or shipped immediately.

The DYMAX coatings line features tough, durable resins with excellent electrical properties. They have high ionic purity as well as the ability to withstand harsh environmental conditions.

 Platoshear lead cutters TOP
Sector: PCB Assembly, Soldering & Surface Mount

Platoshear - assemblers love its effortless shearing action, comfort, light weight, and safety for electronics lead cutting.

Platoshear requires 50% less operator effort and has a longer cutting life than conventional cutters because it shears rather than bites. And cushioned handles provide daylong comfort.

Platoshear has a thin profile designed for those "hard to get at" areas in electronics assembly where conventional cutters can't reach.
  • Cost effective
  • Ergonomic
  • Reduces operator fatigue
  • Requires 50% less operator effort
  • Complies with IPC J-STD-001
  • ESD safe versions

Sector: PCB Assembly, Soldering & Surface Mount

Permalex Squeegees improve lead-free stencil printing

Squeegee
Transition Automation’s Permalex Squeegees offer a smooth transition and improved printing with lead free solder paste. Using the highest quality squeegee is becoming even more important as the industry moves toward lead free assembly.

Permalex Metal Squeegee are infused with a polymer lubricant. This lubricant eliminates the sticking typically seen on other metal squeegees. In the past, lead has acted as a lubricating element, with its ability to stretch, shear, fill, and smooth out any process of sliding between two elements. And, silver and tin alloys are more abrasive than lead. Permalex Metal Squeegees' polymer lubricant reduces friction and stencil wear. As the industry moves towards lead free this form of lubrication becomes vital to your printing process.

Contact us to find out how Permalex Metal Squeegees can improve your lead-free process.

Potting - a great array of silicones TOP
Sector: Adhesives, Coatings & Sealants

ACC Potting Compounds
ACC Silicone Encapsulation & Potting Compounds are suitable for both thin and deep section cure. They are used for potting sensitive components to protect from vibration, high humidity or other harsh environmental conditions. Thermally conductive grades give fast, efficient heat transfer from electronic components to heat sinks or outer casings. Silicones are useful as protective coatings for pcb's, and can provide protection for automotive electronics, control boxes, etc. Other applications include potting and sealing of cable joint assemblies.

  • Wide range of mix ratios, hardness, viscosity
  • UL94 V-0 grades
  • Optically clear grade
  • Silicone gels
  • Thermally conductive grades
A great array of ACC Silicone Encapsulation & Potting Compounds can be found here. Detailed data sheets and evaluation samples can be sent on request.
