A robot tip alignment module is designed for dispensing applications which require dispense tip changes that could alter the fluid dispense position. The TA tip alignment module series is compatible with the Fisnar range of dispensing robots.
With the tip alignment module installed, users simply need to run the tip alignment function to automatically offset the program, meaning that as soon as a new tip is attached, the robot will immediately detect if it is in a different position and alter itself accordingly. This functionality can also be run through an external control, making it easy to use by manufacturing staff who are not trained in programming the robotics.
The tip alignment function is also an easy fix to problems the user might face when changing a barrel or cartridge, or if the tip has become bent and is not going to the correct location. As a plug-and-play device, it can be easily installed and operated by manufacturing staff untrained in robotics programming.
There are three types of tip alignment module available:
TA7000N: F7000 – Tip Alignment
TA9000N: F9000 – Tip Alignment

The Robot Tip Alignment Module uses sensors to check the position of the dispensing tip, and will correct positioning if the tip is changed or damaged. The device is connected to the user Input port on the back of the robot.
The Sequence of Tip Alignment is:
1) Set Base Tip Position (first time only)
2) Run Setup Tip Alignment
3) Create dispensing program
4) Run program
5) After tip change, run XYZ Search to correct for any offsets
The Tip Alignment Module only affects the current program. If a new program is created, Tip Search Position and Tip Alignment for the new program must be completed.
