About Born2Bond Aquafast Moisture-Resistant Cyanoacrylate Adhesive

Born2Bond™ Aquafast is a single-part, “instant” cyanoacrylate adhesive which provides excellent adhesion performance in high-humidity environments, and with a service temperature of up to 120°C.

Once cured, Born2Bond Aquafast forms strong bonds to metals (including aluminium), plastics, and rubbers, which are moisture and water-resistant. Offering an extremely low water absorption rate of 0.8% allows bonds to maintain their strength when submerged in water, solvents, and oils.

Born2Bond Aquafast uses a low-odour and low-blooming formulation but still cures at fast speeds – typical fixture time is 15 seconds. This allows applications where visual aesthetics are important to benefit from the productivity advantages granted by cyanoacrylate adhesives.

The low to medium viscosity material is available in both bottles and bulk containers, satisfying both small- and large-scale production.
