Description
The SMD-VAC ESD-safe Vacuum Handling Systems are general purpose vacuum handing tools which are powered from mains electricity (220 VAC 50-60 Hz). These pick-and-place tools provide a bench top vacuum generator. The whisper quiet operation makes these the choice tools for many pcb assembly operations. These compact units will handle most of the surface mount components used in industry today. Parts ranging in size from 0.2mm up to 100mm can easily be handled. The long life diaphragm vacuum pump generates six (SMD-VAC-GP) or fifteen (SMD-VAC-HP) inches of mercury.

SMD-VAC-GP

The SMD-VAC-GP comes complete with the following features:

• Whisper-quiet operation
• 4 feet of straight vacuum hose
• 4 feet of coiled vacuum hose
• A set of seven vacuum tips
• A vacuum pick-up handle
• Rubber no-skid feet
• Produces vacuum of over six inches of mercury
• Optional side mounted vacuum pen holder
• Dimensions: 76mm x 152mm x 64mm

SMD-VAC-HP
Additional pick-up power for handling small to very large size components. It has a variable air flow adjustment, for precision control. The compact tower design takes up a very small footprint on the bench. An electric eye pen holder on the side automatically shuts off the unit when the vacuum pen is placed in it. A plug on the rear allows use of an optional foot or hand switch to control vacuum during pick and place operations.

The SMD-VAC-HP comes complete with the following features:

• Quiet operation
• 4 feet of straight vacuum hose
• 4 feet of coiled vacuum hose
• A set of seven vacuum tips
• 12 volt power source
• Automatic vacuum pump ON/OFF control
• Rubber no-skid feet
• ESD connection on rear of unit
• Produces vacuum of over fifteen inches of mercury
• Foot or hand switch is optional
• Variable air flow control
