INT 557 Plating, Masking Tape

INT 557 is based on polyester film, coated with a synthetic rubber/blend adhesive. Its unusual hybrid adhesive gives good sealing, and good release with minimal residues.

Applications

1. For use as a masking tape during plating and etching.
2. For use as a transport medium for LED's during epoxy filling and curing. The adhesive surface is applied to the LED which is filled with the epoxy. After the epoxy has been cured the tape is removed leaving a smooth, residue-free epoxy surface on the LED.
