Caught speaking in public again

For many years we have offered workshops and seminars on many aspects of our business. Our range of seminars on UV and Light Curing Adhesives have been particularly successful; they can be optimised for customers who manufacture medical devices, optics, electronics, glass, plastics or general purpose. For customers, they are offered at your premises as a free of charge service.

We also present at trade shows and exhibitions, and the next one will soon be upon us. Along with Jenton International and EFD, we will be talking about UV adhesives at the Fastening News Live! Roadshow on September 15 at the Botleigh Grange Hotel, Southampton. The seminars will start at 11:00am and finish about noon. We'll be doing some demonstrations, and looking to field plenty of questions.

This second Fastening News Live! Roadshow is organised by irrepressible super-salesman and smashing bloke Mark Newby. Check out his web magazine, both for fastening news and also scary stuff like this!
On Sunday 10th July, Fastening News & FAST Magazine publisher Mark Newby posted a best ever speed of 326.3mph in the jet dragster ‘Split Second'.

I'd rather do public speaking! I hope you can join us in Southampton.

The power of two

There is much power in companies getting together and showing how their products work in tandem. A lot of credibility is generated in this exercise, as each company implicitly recognises the quality of the other product by linking it with their own.

It was therefore great to see a press release on the Manufacturingtalk website from ConProTec. They say that when dispensing adhesives with DTIC's innovative EZ-mix HI (which we sell) and ConProTec's Mixpac S-50 System, end users obtain a higher flow rate and more power overall.

ConProTec confirm that:

In addition, the versatile gun has the capacity to dispense thicker materials safely and can dispense up to 50 ConProTec cartridges on a single charge, depending upon the material viscosity and application. This new feature of the Mixpac S-50 combined with DTIC's EZ-mix light-touch trigger feature with a Drip-Free design, significantly reduces or stops oozing from the mix-tip after releasing the trigger of the cartridge. Capable of dispensing even high viscosity materials over 1 million cps in under a minute, this rechargeable battery powered tool is easy to handle and eliminates repetitive squeezing.

Couldn't have put it better ourselves.

Remarkable pcb repair

Our sales partners, Circuit Technology Center, send out a useful e-mail newsletter every couple of weeks or so. The current issue contains a description of some really miraculous repair which they have undertaken on a board which was missing signal return paths. The repair saved their customer tens of thousands of dollars and a great deal of angst. Take a look at the procedure and be amazed.

Charley Dennehy (President) and his team demonstrate remarkable skills. They also supply a range of products which allows many rework and repair projects to be accomplished by you in-house. We will be pleased to help you out with them.
